About

Hey there — I’m Nilesh! If you landed on this page by accident or after deep-diving Google, welcome—you’re officially among friends (and possibly at least one bored recruiter).

Life for me is one big Ctrl + Alt + Explore. I live for new destinations, meeting interesting people, and surviving culinary adventures that always start with the question, “Is this spicy, or Indian spicy?” Whenever I travel, I find that the best moments aren’t the ones you plan, but the ones you stumble into—sometimes quite literally, thanks to those late-night coding (or gaming) marathons that turn into accidental sunrise viewings.

Family mode is always unlocked—I have two sisters who keep things lively and unpredictable, and a brother who’s so sharp (with a master’s degree in Physics) that he warps both space-time and our family debates. I grew up in Jamshedpur, Tata Steel’s city, where the word “Tata” means a whole lot more than goodbye.

Since my early days, I’ve been a little obsessed with PCs and gaming. I built simulated empires long before I could parallel park, and I spent years as a serious counter-terrorist (at least in the CS and CS:GO universe). I even racked up six cups at NIT JSR with my team. We could ace a 1v5 under pressure, but ordering pizza always led to more arguments than actual matches played.

School was at Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, which had legendary campus spirit (and, let’s be honest, legendary samosas). That place gave me more than academic lessons—it built up my confidence, forged great friends, and helped me appreciate the holy trinity: marks, manners, and Maggi.

These days you’ll find me in Bangalore, living the classic “surviving and thriving” routine in a city where the coffee is strong, rent is stronger, and every friend is either a coder, a food reviewer, or both at the same time. My guiding motto is to try new things, meet amazing people, remain a little humble, and always go for that extra dosa when in doubt.

What do I believe? Hard work always trumps shortcuts; consistency may not be glamorous, but it’s unbeatable. Curiosity keeps life interesting. The world spins on memes, caffeine, and the mutual agreement that “just one more episode” is never just one. As much as I love technology, it’s the people behind the code who make it cool—although, let’s be honest, stable Wi-Fi is non-negotiable.

And just to keep things light: Why don’t JavaScript devs like to travel? Because they’re afraid of ‘this’ losing context. Thanks for stopping by! If any of this made you smile, consider the mission accomplished. If you’re still reading, come say hi—or challenge me to a CS:GO match. Loser brings the chai.
